How to Make Filipino pandesal bread

Freshly baked bread rolls in a woven basket.

Take bread flour add little sugar salt and baking powder to it. In another bowl take fresh milk add yeast and sugar mix it thoroughly and leave it aside for 10-15 minutes. Mix the dough. to this add egg, melted butter and cooking oil to it and leave it for 10 minutes. To this add the mixture of yeast and milk which was already prepared. Knead the mixture well and by covering the bowl with a cloth leave it aside for an hour. Now on a flat surface put some dry flour and knead it properly. Now make four pieces of the kneaded mixture. Take a single piece roll it and make diagonal cuts all along the roll. Take them piece by piece and roll them in bread crumbs. These are now placed in a tray with a wax paper on it. After placing them all cover the tray with a cloth and is left for 10 minutes.

Now preheat the oven for a temperature, used for doughnuts and place the tray into the oven now. After a few minutes remove the tray with the baked pandasals.

The food preparation is now ready.
