How to Make the perfect french toast

You will need:

a large, shallow dish

1 large egg beaten

2 tbsp melted unsalted butter

3/4 cup milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/4 tsp salt

5 slices of thick bread

a skillet and a spatula
